Project: Mason Jar Fairy Luminary - we are going to use a small mason jar, tea light , Resin fairy which you can fancy up, wire to hang it, and we will have such things as beads, papers, ribbons, moss, stones, etc. to add to your jar to make it unique. You will take home a sweet little light you can hang in your garden to enjoy the rest of the summer.

Supplies: glue such as 3 in 1, scissors, paint/ink/stain/glitter if you want to fancy your fairy up, any small unique items you personally want to add to your luminary (if I think of more after I do our sample, I will let you know)

Dinner: Backyard Barbecue with Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Salads and Dessert

Cost: $20.00 per person

Can you guess what I am making

Here's another hint of what I am working on

Just for fun I thought I would start posting a couple of pictures of something I am working on to see if you can guess what the end results will be. I will continue to post a pictures until the project is finished ....here's the first.

I will tell you I stared with the Kaiser Craft Advent Calendar Box, painted it black and added some of the dividers for the drawers.

Altered Clock Create and Show

I have ordered a dozen of these Tim Holtz assemblage clocks for us to alter and share at an upcoming gathering. I will have them available for you at the summer gathering in August (details soon on that - keep August 9th open). I have been able to purchase them for $8 each (clock + shipping). Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing and altering one for a showing. I think we can have a lot of fun with this and hope you will join in the fun! Christmas in August [and November]!!!

Hey Girls,
I had originally wanted to post this swap in May and call it "Christmas in July", but with June already upon us and running I decided to do a "Christmas in August" ornament swap instead.  Actually this is a double swap and I'll explain.  I am asking you to create 3 Christmas ornaments due in August and 3 ornaments due at the end of November.  In the past we created the ornaments on an ATC - I thought I'd switch it up and let you use your imagination.  You can still use an ATC for the ornament or you can use a chipboard shape or anything else you like as long as it is NOT LARGER than an ATC and as long as it can be hung on a tree.  The first set of 3 will be due to me by August 16th and the second set due to me by November 30th.  PLEASE REMEMBER the bubble envelopes now cost $2.07 to mail.  If you would like, and you are attending Lori & Maura's gathering in the summer {date to be announced}, you can bring it then even if it is after the 16th.  If you don't participate in this August swap and you want to join in the November one it will be fine. . . you don't have to do both if you choose not to.  My address is 41 Sheldon Ave., Latham, NY 12110 and my email is franpascazio@yahoo.com.  So let's pull out some of our Christmas treasures and let's get busy!!!

June Gathering Canceled

Hi Ladies, I have decided to CANCEL Junes Gathering,

it turns out that June is a very busy month with Wedding, Graduations and Party's .
