Ribbon Doll Swap- Reminder

Hi Ladies, I saw these dolls and thought what a great way to use some of the ribbons and

  fibers that I know we all have. 

Use a photo, a stamped image, a collage image or even a painted image of a head and torso.

What ever you decide to use embellish her bling her up with lots of ribbons and imagination.

My only requirement is to have fun designing her.

Miriam's Altered Postcard Swap

Miriam is hosting an altered postcard swap. The theme is "April showers bring May flowers". You must include some pretty ribbons and do both sides of the card. Think flowers, gardens, parasols... The samples shown are from a recent swap Miriam participated in and are just to give you some ideas of what she is looking for. This will be a one for one swap.
Email Maura at onecraftystamper@gmail.com to get the postcard for the swap (send me your address and I will mail it to you) I have 15 postcards, and we could order more if needed.

Halloween Gathering Postponed to Oct 2013

Hi Ladies, I just wanted to let you know what Beth and I have decided to do about the Halloween Gathering that we had to cancel due to the weather. After much consideration we decided to wait until October 2013 to hold it. This will give those that wanted to do the Witches Hat but ran out of time more time...lol. I hope this news isn't to disappointing but we felt due to scheduling conflicts this was the best alternative.

Valentine Altered Tin Swap

Hi ladies, just a reminder that there is still time to get your altered tin to me even if you

 are still thinking of working on them Feb 7th is the due date.  I have received a couple

altered tins already and they are so creative,

 it's going to be difficult to swap, I want them all....lol

 

 

To answer a couple of questions that have been asked :

The tins for the Valentine swap can be purchased almost anywhere, if you want the Altoid Tin you can purchase it at  Kmart, Walmarts, Rite Aid, Walgreens, they are usually with the candy near the registrars.

Another option is Michaels or Joann's in the wedding department they also have tins. 

Any tin is ok to use as long as you alter it.


Now the Altered Cabinet is due the end of  March, I am hoping to have more info on a date we can get together soon for you.

If you want to post a swap, and not sure how to do it on the blog, post it to Yahoo and let me know that you did and I will post it to the blog for you.

Valentine's Altered Tins Swap

I came across  these cute altered tins on Pinterest and thought how fun, so I am posting a swap
For:    Altered Valentines Tins
Due:   to me by February 7th
Requirements: Top and inside of tin should be altered, size, shape and type is up to you.  Use at least 3 different elements on it besides paper (ex: lace. buttons, flowers, pins, charms etc.) and it should have at least one heart on it (any color).
