Tim Holtz Configuration Boxes

A couple weeks ago, Maura, Mary, Miriam and myself (hopefully I didn't leave anyone out) along with several other ladies took a class at Captured Moments using the Tim Holtz Configuration Boxes. We all had such a great time playing with the boxes trying to figure out what way to place them and what to put in them.  I have pictures of Maura's and mine and hope that Mary and Miriam will post pictures of their's for you to see....enjoy

Inspirational Mixed Media Artist

Ania Dabrowska is a mixed media artist that I find totally inspiring.  Her blog, Tworzysko Finnabair shares her work in dual languages, and has links to her Pinterest, Flickr, and other sites for your total exploration.  I find a lot of inspiration here for art journaling and altered art projects.  Enjoy!

Doris and I are figuring out how to add all of our group onto the blog, so any of us can post!  Just checking to see if this works...and Yes it does!! So, some of you will find an email from Doris and a link so that you can sign up to also post on the blog.  If Doris doesn't have your email, get it to her to be added. You will need to set up a Google account to post yourself, or you can email photos or posts to Doris or Maura and we can put them up for you.

Tim Holtz Challenge

I had this crazy idea today......no different from other days....lol.....would anyone be interested in doing the Tim Holtz monthly tags.  My thought was we could do our interpretation of  the tags each month with Tim no swaps involved,  we would do them for ourselves, grab a cup of coffee or tea and take a few minutes and create something for you.  We could then post a picture of what we did and share.  I thought it might be fun to see how differently they would look reflecting our individual personality's..

You Tube ATC Altered Album

Recently, I received an email from Jennifer Sager telling me about a  You Tube video she has made  featuring an altered book  to hold her ATC cards. She thought It might might be nice to share it on our blog.  Now I beleive that our Maura and  Helen both have a ATC Valentine featured in this video.This video can also be seen on Maura's blog (http://www.TwoCraftingSisters.blogspot.com) .
