Valentine's Altered Tins Swap

I came across  these cute altered tins on Pinterest and thought how fun, so I am posting a swap
For:    Altered Valentines Tins
Due:   to me by February 7th
Requirements: Top and inside of tin should be altered, size, shape and type is up to you.  Use at least 3 different elements on it besides paper (ex: lace. buttons, flowers, pins, charms etc.) and it should have at least one heart on it (any color).

Altered Cabinet

Just thought I would post a few pictures I found as ideas for the altered cabinet challenge

You can make them as triditional or as whimisical as you choose, It's totaly up to you..

Domino Book Swap

It's a challenge to create a book in miniature form, and these are amazing little wonders of art! Mary designed her little book around an ocean theme. You can almost hear the waves rolling in and smell that salty air.

 

 

Doris found some giant dominoes to work with and that cover just hints that there are secrets inside! Secret places around the world, that is. Who's ready to pack their bag for some traveling?

 

 

 

Fran's book is a voyage to the Rennaissance through the eyes of Vangeline. In this book, all that glitters is gold! Just delightful.

 

 

 

Maura chose the Steampunk route for her book, and made it fold like an accordion. One side is male and the other female.

 

 

Thank you ladies for joining me on this creative venture. Fran, I should have the mailbox shoveled out tomorrow to mail yours out, and Doris and Mary, I will give you yours when next I see you.

Chrtistmas Paperdoll

Recently I decided to participate in a swap with Catherine Moore's Character Construct Stamps, I love these stamps.  The project was to make a Christmas Paper Doll, her only requirement was to use Character Construct Doll stamps as the base of the project and any embellishment's

 you wanted to add.

Easy enough...lol... Since my favorite Christmas paper this year  happens to be Graphic 45's  (my favorite paper line) Nutcracker Suite Line it made it so clear as what I had to do....

 I love making these paper dolls.

Postponing Halloween Gathering

Ladies -
Due to the impending storm, Doris & I have decided to postpone the gathering. We would rather air on the side of caution and be prepared ahead so none of you have to travel in the bad weather. We will reschedule for another date very soon that hopefully is convenient for all of you to attend. Stay safe everyone throughout the storm!!!

Reminder about the Halloween Gathering

Just a reminder to all attending the Halloween Gathering on Monday, October 30, 5-8pm at Captured Moments. The fee for the gathering is $20. We'll be having a festive lite dinner and dessert. We have two fun Halloween projects planned for the evening so bring your basic supply kit: scissors, adhesives, etc. Also, don't forget to bring your altered witches hat to share with the group.
